Not as Cool as I Envisioned
Most people seem to like this particular boot, but for me, it didn't fit the way I would of liked. I will however preface this review by saying that I am 6"2, with long legs, and a relatively skinny pair of calves, so my experience my not apply to most people. Alrighty...So, when I took the boot out of the box, my eyes lit up because the shaft was much taller than I expected... the taupe colour was different, the fringe funky&cool..suffice to say, I couldn't wait to put the boots on. Well, from the time I got the boots on, it all went downhill from there. For starters, the shaft was wayyy to wide for my legs (I could literally push my arm all the way down into the boot while my leg was still in there, which means stuffing my jeans into the boot is not going to help). As a result of the shaft being so large the boots just slouched a lot and looked sloppy. I then walked around a bit in the shoes and it felt like the shoe wasn't exactly true to size, my toes felt a little cramped..so I think if you wanna wear socks with it, you might want to order a half size up. I have narrow feet, so the width felt great, but i'm sure it would be uncomfortable for a person who has a wider than avg. width. Finally, this boot is definitely called vintage for another reason besides the retro look, and that is: there is no padding in the sole, so, if you have sensitive feet, you might have to invest in an inner-sole. Now, Like i said, this is my take on this shoe, I'm not trying to bash it, I'm sure it would be a great shoe for someone who has looonng legs, LARGE calves, and can appreciate a chic/rustic look...

I love these boots they are comfortable the only beef i have with these boots is the calf.. it could of have a little bit more room in the calfs..over all the boots are great..
